Jeita Grotto is the most famous and biggest cave in Lebanon explored by pioneers of the Speleo Club du Liban in the Mid XXth century totaling a network of 9 km of underground river and galleries. In 1992, the GERSL discovered new galleries (Liban Souterrain 4 & 5). Now, the total length of Jeita grotto is more than 11 km.
